Where do I Begin?Where do I begin? How do I fit in?
I'm not gonna lie, but I'm gonna try, to do my best again. From here where should I go? See that I just don't know. but if I did, I'd flip my lid, so I could steal the show. So now what should I do? I wish I had a clue. This writer's block, should really stop, Then write this poem for you |
Angel in the SkyLife has many moments that can take your breath away,
And so many memories that words can not explain. From the footsteps of a child to a mother's warm embrace, To a sister's caring words that time can not erase. For the one that's always gentle and the one that's always kind, And the one that always gave comfort when none was there to find. So rest your mind and dry your eyes and know the Lord is nigh, For tonight an angel reunites with family in the sky. |
The Game I LearnedOne lesson in life I learned is life is a game,
The players may change but the rules remain the same. Picture the premise as a roll of dice it starts, But for practical purposes picture a deck of cards. The strategy is to succeed with the cards in your hand, But also read opponents as best as you can. One must understand the opposition's position, Yet keep your mind on motivation while maintaining retention. Placing your position is like taking your turn, At the end of the day or play calculate what you've earned. Don't complicate your concern with going all in, Stay focused in the game and the result in the end. But before the next hand is dealt and the next year begin, The dealer has to shuffle the whole deck again. |
A Moon Lit NightDo you like the sight of a moon lit night,
When the stars in the sky look below? Where fire flies fly and still waters shine, As the trees and the plants stay a glow. From first sight of dusk until the dawn breaks, The lunar lips will surly smile soon. When blue skies sleep, another world awaits, While the dark illuminates by the moon. Such a serene scene, no place more peaceful, As the night grows nigh through these eyes. For I could seek no type of equal, Than sounds or the sights of moon lit nights. |
The Traveler's IntrospectionI'm traveling on a road, but traveling it alone,
If I return am I wrong? But if I don't then I'm gone. Parts of this path still ain't right, but that's still just part of life, My destiny's out of sight, but lady luck is my wife. By my side is my bible, I take that where I might go. Living life is a cycle, therefore who is my rival? I might go off of this trail, whenever life might get stale, It's difficult to in tale, while we all try to prevail. So many multiple paths, why leave it all up to chance? It's still a devilish dance, that catches up to you fast. For I still try to get by, still with a wondrous eye, Should we all strive for the sky, or are we living to die? So why I do what I do, still might be unknown to you, Still to thy own self I'm true, cause that's still how I get through. Now if we all persevere, we'd all have nothing to fear, With a purpose crystal clear, upon the course which I steer. Still here deep within my mind, I feel a changing in tide. I brace myself to collide, but keep it all deep inside. |
My Christmas Hymn ListO little town of Bethlehem, it was the first Noel,
A silent night, holy night, O come Emanuel. While shepherds watched their flocks by night, Angels we have heard on high. Mary did you know, what child is this? In the bleak midwinter, love came down on Christmas. Oh morning star, how fair & how bright, Away in a manger, he is born, on this O holy night. Sing we now of Christmas with angels from the realms of glory, It came upon a midnight clear, infant holy, infant lowly. O come all ye faithful & go tell it on the mountain. Joy to the world, when Christmas morn is dawning. Good christian friends rejoice, just as we three kings, There's a song in the air & Hark, the herald angels sing. Oh Christmas trees with silver bells, jingle all the way, This is my Christmas hymn list, I'll be home for Christmas day. |
The Sea I SeeThe sands I see, that's settles by sea,
That meets the rippling water. Gulls sing their song, while people sail on, But beyond this beach I ponder. With palm trees near, waves crashing I hear, Does marine life ever wonder? As sea shells stay, fish frolic and play, Do they ever think of what's yonder? |
The Bitter Taste of Good ByeSo many things in life are left to reminisce,
Like sitting on the bridge the day of our first kiss. I thought you where my angel sent to me from above, Then the years went by we quickly fell in love. Together forever is what we would assume, But now just your touch is as far as the moon. We been through it all & tasted tears as we cried, I thought we'd overcome all just as long as we tried. As I look to the horizon as the sun starts to set, And a dark part of life is to live with regret. I've hung by this moment like the words in our song, Yet I stand alone since you're all ready gone. So I guess this is it the bitter taste of good bye, As I watch my angel fly far away in the sky... |
